Gay Meth Sex Preacher Set To Star In Episode of ‘Celebrity Wife Swap’

Via: Wonkette

Meth-hungry gay hooker aficionado and Jesus salesman Ted “Swear I’m Not A Homo” Haggard is back in the news for agreeing to sell his wife to Gary Busey on national television in exchange for money that they will each be paid for doing this, as “popular entertainment.” We sincerely hope that the tapes of this show are the last remaining evidence of humanity when aliens discover the charred remains of Earth, in 2024:

Producers of “Celebrity Wife Swap” confirmed to People magazine on Wednesday that the former New Life Church pastor and his wife, Gayle, will appear star in the new ABC reality series, on which they will swap partners (without sex; yeah, maybe) with actor Gary Busey and his wife.

Sources have told The Gazette that the show will shoot Thursday at the GLBT Pride Center in Colorado Springs.

The premise is simple: Haggard and Busey will swap wives for a short time. The first couple of days, the husbands make the rules for their new “spouses.” After that, the wives take charge. The fun could come from the conflict between Haggard and Busey’s wife, whom sources say is a spiritual woman but not a fan of organized religion.

UPDATE: At press time there’s still no word whether the Bachmanns (Michele and First-Lady Marcus) will make a cameo appearance.

Notes on Class Warfare – Krugman

Via: NYT

I’ll be saying much more on this. But for now, partly as a note to myself, some notes on the actual class war that has taken place over the past THIRTY YEARS – namely class warfare for the rich against the middle class.

1. Major tax cuts for high-income Americans, much larger as a percentage of income than for the middle class; CBO data here.

2. Decline in REAL minimum wage.

3. Union-busting, aided and abetted by federal policy.

4. Financial deregulation, which has fed inequality because very high incomes come disproportionately from that sector.

And now shrieks of outrage over the prospect of even a slight reversal of these trends.  (Fuck ’em all!)

Michael Bloomberg to Congress: ‘TIME to EXPECT RIOTS’

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg warned Congress Friday, saying members  should expect riots if the nation’s rate of unemployment remains above 9  percent.

“We have a lot of kids graduating college, can’t find jobs,” Mr. Bloomberg  said on his weekly radio show. “That’s what happened in Cairo. That’s what  happened in Madrid. You don’t want those kinds of riots here.”

Mr. Bloomberg also noted that the nation’s poverty rate, which rose to the  highest level in over a decade, was the latest indication that Congress is  failing America.

“The public is not happy,” he said. “The public knows there is something  wrong in this country, and there is. The bottom line is that they’re upset.”

Riots have hit a number of nations, including Greece and countries throughout  the Middle East, as workers continue to search for jobs. A recent Labor  Department report found the U.S. failing to add a single job in the month of  August as the rate of unemployment remained above 9 percent.

Mr. Bloomberg focused on college students, saying the next generation of  workers are lucky to find any jobs in the current economic climate. Mr.  Bloomberg noted that the ramifications of the economic crisis are likely to be  felt for years to come.

“The damage to a generation that can’t find jobs will go on for many, many  years,” the New York mayor said.

Speaking Friday, Mr. Bloomberg PRAISED President Obama’s attempts to grow the  economy, saying Congress and politics have contributed more to slow growth than  the policies put forth by the Obama administration.

“At least he’s got some ideas on the table, whether you like those or not,” Mr. Boomberg said. “Now everybody’s got to sit down and say we’re actually gonna  do something and you have to do something on BOTH the REVENUE and the EXPENSE SIDE.” (will they? highly unlikely)

Mr. Bloomberg, an independent, criticized the partisan politics of Congress,  saying the inability of Republicans and Democrats to compromise on ways to fix  the economy has eroded confidence. Mr. Bloomberg endorsed the notion of  increasing taxes, saying it was necessary for balancing the nation’s budget.

“The only way you solve this problems is that everybody pays a little more  and everybody gets a little less,” he said.

personal thought:

I’ve always been somewhat surprised there hasn’t been a ‘middle-class’ Howard Beale screaming out the window,

“I’m mad as hell, and I’m not going to take it this anymore!”

Michele ‘bat-shit insane’ Bachmann’s Job Idea – Less food inspection

Via: Think Progress

Bachmann says, as do most of those in the GOP field, that a lightened regulatory load would allow employers to spend money on expansion rather than federal compliance. But the Minnesota congresswoman is the first to focus the argument on the food-processing industry.

“That’s part of the problem, the overkill,” Bachmann told reporters during an appearance in which she posed with huge slabs of beef. “And when they make it complicated, they make it expensive and so then you can no longer stay in business.”

As the Associated Press noted, Bachmann’s call to do away with food safety regulations “follows high-profile recalls of peanuts, eggs and other tainted food products.”

At the moment, one out of six Americans suffers from a foodborne illness every year, with 128,000 of those resulting in hospitalization.

Ultimately, 3,000 people die from foodborne illness annually, according to the Department of Health and Human Services.

Georgetown University’s Produce Safety Project has found that foodborne illness costs the U.S. $152 billion each year.”

Dead meat, Michele. Just like your campaign.

Butch’s ‘strap-on penis’ is NOW working for the cops!

Via: Huffington Post

A police officer, a prostitute, an opossum and a “flaccid rubber replica of a penis” — they’re not the ingredients to a punch line, but rather the details from a Florida crime report.

On September 14, a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office task force was patrolling the streets of Bradenton for suspected prostitutes. At about 10 p.m., an undercover detective with a backup team stationed nearby pulled up next to a white female in a green spaghetti-strap shirt.

“She got into the undercover vehicle and told me to head north,” the undercover John, identified only as “Smith,” wrote in the police report.

After stopping at an ATM, the alleged lady of the night, later identified as Christina Hope Vavra, a.k.a. ‘Pretty Baby’, got down to the business at hand, according to an unusually explicit police report.

“We then drove out of the parking lot, at which point she asked me to expose my penis,” Smith wrote. “I asked her if I could put a condom on first. I then exposed a flaccid rubber replica of a penis and placed a condom on it. She immediately leaned over and put it into her mouth.”

The rendezvous came to a sudden halt when a wildlife critter strolled into the road.

“I saw an opossum cross the road and slammed on the brakes, causing the female to slide out of her seat and mildly into the dashboard,” the officer wrote.

Vavra, 31, was subsequently taken into custody by the monitoring team and booked on suspicion of engaging in prostitution. She was placed in the Manatee County Jail and held on $120 bond.

Hey that’s Butch’s ‘strap-on flacid rubber replica of a penis’, penis!

‘Strap-on-penis’ assault case dropped by prosecutors’, that’s right,  Bradenton, FL.
