Perfect And Off-Limits Ann Romney Will Now See You Next Tuesday

Via: Wonkette

Did you get that? We hope you got that. It is pretty subtle, we know, as we at Wonket are the souls of subtlety and modesty and also not being vulgar. What we were trying to intimate in our clever headline is that the Perfect and Off-Limits Virgin Mother Ann Romney is now just being a total cunt.

Oh, did someone ask her about Michelle Obama’s fancee vacations?

And what did she have to say about that?

Romney was responding to a question from WJR Detroit’s Frank Beckmann, who asked Romney if her family would be vacationing abroad as frequently as the Obamas.

“I doubt that,” Romney replied. “Our vacations and our happiness come from being with our children and our grandchildren.”

You know the Obamas: always just giving those awful Obama children the slip and leaving them down at the pub or maybe at the casino where they are spending their food stamps probably, right?

Yes, Ann Romney is the soul of jerk-off pious familial piety, . . .

unlike the Obamas who are too busy sex-orgying with the King of Spain to attend to their children.

But how is the perfect and off-limits Ann Romney more in touch with her commoner public than is Ms. Queenie Marie Antoinette Obama?

Ann Romney didn’t rule out vacationing at all, noting the Romney family has their “own places for that.”

When we take a vacation, it’ll be with our children and grandchildren,” she repeated.

We would like to know about these (presumably private and palatial and Romney-owned) “own places for that.” But more to the point, FUCK YOU Ann Romney, you vicious old slag.

My gawd, she’s as arrogant, and as dim-wtted, as Willard!

Do the right thing, and Re-Elect Obama/Biden.

John Kerry To Play Fellow Tall, Limp Massachusetts Patrician Mitt Romney In Debate Practice

Via: Wonkette

John Kerry’s back on the presidential debate stage! He told you bums that he’d get back there, one of these days. Unfortunately, he’ll only be playing his 2012 lamer equivalent, Mitt Romney, in practice debates against President Obama. How debasing. But since John Kerry’s career at this point is “kiss as much Obama ass as possible until John Kerry is named Secretary of State,” he’ll proudly accept this call to make the very, very modest tweaks to his personality necessary to portray a perfect Mitt Romney.

Kerry, for all of his general mediocrity in most political things, was an excellent debater — or at least good enough to beat George W. Bush and his earpiece. Will he be just as good as fake Mittens?

“There is no one that has more experience or understanding of the presidential debate process than John Kerry,” said David Axelrod, Obama’s chief strategist. “He’s an expert debater who has a fundamental mastery of a wide range of issues, including Mitt Romney’s Massachusetts. He’s the obvious choice.”

Read more, HERE:

“He’s an expert debater who has a fundamental mastery of a wide range of issues“; okay, but can ‘he say this, about that’:

Dream eligible immigrants: “We’ll look at that — we’ll look at that setting as we– as we reach that.”

Romney won’t specify which tax loopholes he’d close: “We’ll go through that process with Congress.”

Romney won’t say which federal agencies he’d eliminate: Romney reportedly told donors he would eliminate or combine “a lot of departments in Washington,” but that he was “probably not going to lay out just exactly which ones are going to go.”

Romney won’t say whether he supports the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act: “I’m not going to go back and look at all the prior laws and say had I been there which ones would I have supported and signed.” (Oh you mean like, Romneycare?)

Romney won’t say whether he’d support full reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act: “hopes [the bill] can be reauthorized without turning it into a political football.”

Romney won’t say whether say whether he’d eliminate the “carried interest” tax break for private equity partners: Romney’s campaign has REFUSES  TO ANSWER QUESTIONS about whether he supports eliminating the “carried interest” tax break for private equity partners, even when asked directly, saying only that we should probably “take a close look at to see if we’re treating capital gains as capital gains or are we treating, in some cases, carried interest as capital gains when it’s more like ordinary income.”

personal thought:

If the race hasn’t been decided by the START of the first Obama/Romney debate, it will be decided by the END of the first Obama/Romney debate.

Josephine Baker

Via: Music Babes

Josephine Baker (June 3, 1906 – April 12, 1975) was an American-born French dancer, singer, and actress. Born Freda Josephine McDonald in St. Louis, Missouri, she became a citizen of France in 1937. Fluent in both English and French, Baker became an international musical and political icon. She was given such nicknames as the “Bronze Venus”, the “Black Pearl”, and the “Créole Goddess”.

Baker was the first African American female to star in a major motion picture, to integrate an American concert hall, and to become a world-famous entertainer.

She is also noted for her contributions to the Civil Rights Movement in the United States (she was offered the unofficial leadership of the movement by Coretta Scott King in 1968 following Martin Luther King, Jr.’s assassination, but turned it down), for assisting the French Resistance during World War II, and for being the first American-born woman to receive the French military honor, the Croix de guerre.

Blake Farenthold (R-TX) – ‘GOP Moron of the Day’

Via: Think Progress

When President Obama announced on Friday relief from deportation for undocumented people who came to the country as children, he noted, “They were brought to this country by their parents, sometimes even as infants, and often have no idea that they’re undocumented until they apply for a job or a driver’s license or a college scholarship.”

Rep. Blake Farenthold (R-TX) (see photo) disagrees.

During an appearance on CNN’s Starting Point this morning, Farenthold told Soledad O’Brien that he believes that 16-year-old kids can make their own decisions about immigrating to the United States, claiming that his own 16-year-old daughter argues about “pretty much everything the family wants to do”:

FARENTHOLD: Well, you are also talking about people that came over at 16 years of age. At that point, you had a say in it, and that looks kind of more like amnesty. […]

OBRIEN: You think a 16 year old whose parents are coming across the border has a say in whether or not they’re just going to stay behind in their country?

FARENTHOLD: They’re certainly in a position to have a conversation with their parents about it.

OBRIEN: A sixteen year old is in a position to have a conversation with their parents about coming across the border, you think?

FARENTHOLD: Believe me, my sixteen year old daughter has given me some input on pretty much everything the family wants to do.

Bottom-line: Most 16-year-old children are, of course, reliant on their parents for financial support, and do not actually get a say in where their families move.

And the President is right that many children don’t know their immigration status until much later — when they apply for a job or a drivers’ license.

Rep. Farenthold with a staffer on a recent ‘fact finding tour’; and yes, they were ‘finding facts’ at a brothel.
