Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) – enrolls family in Obamacare

One of Obamacare’s biggest critics is now officially covered under the federal health care exchange: Sen. Marco Rubio.

Senator Rubio spent time looking at all the options and decided to enroll through the D.C. exchange for coverage for him and his family,” spokeswoman Brooke Sammon told the Buzz.

Rubio took the federal subsidy afforded to lawmakers and staff — a perk worth up to 75 percent of monthly premium costs — that some Republicans wanted to kill off. Some lawmakers who have enrolled in the exchange (The Washington Post is keeping a list) have rejected the taxpayer-funded employer contribution, which is far more generous than most workers get.

QUESTION:

What are we going to see next from the Senator; perhaps shaking hands with Fidel and Raul Castro?

(See Photo) – Marco Rubio (R-FL) – ‘GOP Moron of the Day’

“I think immigration reform is harder to achieve today than it was three weeks ago because of what happened here,” the first-term senator said during an appearance on Fox News Sunday, before agreeing with opponents of immigration reform who warn that the Obama Administration will simply fail to enforce border security or other aspects of a bill he disagrees with.

“The president has undermined this effort, absolutely, because of the way he has behaved over the last three weeks,” Rubio added. “This notion that they’re going to get in a room and negotiate a deal with the president on immigration is much more difficult to do…because of the way the president has behaved towards his opponents over the last three weeks.”

personal thought:

It seems to me, the Immigration Reform is a ‘win-win’ for the Democrats.

1. If it can somehow be passed, the Democrats will gain most of the credit.

2. If it fails, the GOP/teababbers will get the blame.

3. Clinton will be President, and the Senate AND the House will BOTH be Democrat.

PERFECT!

“Many people who come here illegally are doing exactly what we would do if we lived in a country where we couldn’t feed our families.

“If my kids went to sleep hungry every night and my country didn’t give me an opportunity to feed them, there isn’t a law, no matter how restrictive, that would prevent me from coming here.”
